Three Animals, One Stuffed is a short-subject feature about two college students' one night stand gone awry.  Much like a one-act play, this small scale production focuses on the motivations at play behind anonymous encounters, shedding some light on gendered expectations and the difference between sex and love.

About the Production:  Three Animals, One Stuffed was filmed in three days at Indiana University's Collins Living & Learning Center.  The shooting location was a vacant room for which producer Dan Dixon acquired furniture, props, and decorations.  After six actors were called in for second auditions, Jayson Wickenkamp and Lesley Dial were offered the roles of Andrea and Max.  The third character, that of the stuffed animal, was written specifically for Tralfez the spotted snow leopard, who flew in from Portland, Oregon, for his screen acting debut.  After shooting wrapped, the movie was edited in a week and handed to electric guitarist Denis Taaffe.  Taaffe, a one-man orchestra whom director Scott Schirmer had seen perform in Bloomington, IN, improvised the movie's original score as he watched it.
